RHYTHMS OF THE CITY

Rhythms of the City, the UK’s top professional samba percussion squad, has been touring with Brit-pop sensations Friendly Fires (and appears on their last single ‘Kiss of Life’) and has played at carnivals and festivals across the UK and in Europe including: Notting Hill Carnival, Womad, Glastonbury, Big Chill, Lovebox and Wireless. The band also has a residency at London’s prestigious Guanabara club.

For Night of Festivals 2010, Rhythms of the City bring influences from Brazil and Cuba, featuring star vocalists Bosco de Oliveria and Osvaldo Chacon plus Latin dancers.
