Gurdain Rayatt

Gurdain is also regularly involved in cross-cultural, fusion and world music projects. He is a prominent member of the world music collective “Kefaya”, based in the UK, as well as the blues and indian classical trio blend of “Michael Messer’s Mitra”.
Gurdain Rayatt is one of the finest young tabla players in the country today. His rigorous training from his father and grandfather and also the late Pandit Shankar Ghosh has resulted in a varied and rich lineage of repertoire and style from the Punjab, Benares and Farukhabad gharanas.
Amrit Kaur Lohia

Amrit Kaur Lohia is a singer-songwriter, Sarangi player and vocalist in genres of Punjabi folk, R&B and soul.

BBC Music Introducing artist Amrit Kaur Lohia is a Sarangi player and vocalist in genres of Punjabi folk, jazz and soul. Amrit has toured USA, Canada, Europe and Asia as a musician, social entrepreneur and youth coach. Her notable performances include Glastonbury Festival, UN General Assembly, MTV, TEDx and Jaipur Literature Festival. She studied MA History at SOAS, University of London and is a Global Youth Ambassador for TheirWorld.
