Night of Festivals London - 6 - 7 August 2016
ArtReach is busy preparing for its biggest Night of Festivals event yet – a weekend of celebrations on London’s South bank (at Potters Fields Park, The Scoop at More London and Queen’s Walk) to mark
the opening weekend of the Rio Olympics on 6 and 7 August(Saturday 6th 2pm - 10pm and Sunday 7th 11am – 6pm)
A varied and rich programme includes constant carnival and samba throughout both days of the Festival, live music, dance, theatre, visual arts installations (including the interactive Chimes), family storytelling and our amazing Night Time Lit Carnival!
We are marking the opening weekend of the Rio Olympics with a special focus on Brazilian and Latin American culture. Don’t miss Maracuta, the special samba of Paraiso, the spectacular London School of Samba and Kinetika Bloco and the vibrant sounds of Sambando.
We also have a strong European artistic dimension to the Festival, built on strong partnerships ArtReach has established with Romanian, German, and Bulgarian cultural organisations and artists.
The Festival includes the first ever UK visit from amazing Romanian theatre company Masca….don’t miss their Living Statues on Potters Fields Park on both Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th.

FREE artistic celebration, for the whole family - and a little bit thought provoking too!
